Aseptic Packaging Adhesives
Aseptic packaging allows food and drink to be kept safe and fresh for longer periods without refrigeration or preservatives. For this to happen, everything in your production chain (machinery and food, packaging materials etc.) must be commercially sterile. Beardow Adams’ aseptic adhesives are odour-free, non-fuming, water white and are supplied as prills, meaning they’re easy to run and suitable for machines with auto-feed systems.
With aseptic packaging, adhesives are used not only in the construction of cartons (for example), but to attach the likes of caps and straws also.
One of Beardow Adams best-selling aseptic packaging adhesives is BAMFutura™ 55OB. Manufactured in our world-class facilities, it was created as a cap-fixing adhesive which enables production efficiency and reduces production failure.
The adhesive provides excellent adhesion to very difficult substrates, making it ideal to be used with aseptic packaging, cartons, containers and other packaging products. BAMFutura 55OB will also fluoresce when exposed to UV light, so you can better see where the adhesive has been applied.
